I just came across a clever, dark, and funny site: Despair.com. They create spoofs of motivational posters. You know what I am talking about - those posters with thick black borders and a picture of nature that is supposed to encapsulate some big corporate concept like Teamwork or Passion. At first glance most of these spoof posters appear to be regular motivational reminders - at least until you read the subtitle. Here are a few of my favorites:

Potential
Not everyone gets to be an astronaut when they grow up.

Mediocrity
It takes a lot less time and most people won't notice the difference until it's too late.

Incompetence
When you earnestly believe you can compensate for a lack of skill by doubling your efforts, there's no end to what you can't do.
