My Happy Place

So, in case you didn't know, Shannon is out of the country until Tuesday. As a result I am beginning to stake out a temporary bachelor pad, slowly reverting back down the evolutionary chain to something resembling a technical basement-dwelling hermit.

I just placed the final piece tonight (the television, now with cable) to watch the Daily Show. I must admit that once the entire setup was complete I had to let out a maniacal laugh... "MUUU HA HA HA!!! Feel the power of my ancient hardware clustered in the corner of the basement!"

... *cough*, excuse me. No, I have not lost my mind. Yet.
