New Album: Terry’s Retirement Party
You're probably wondering where we've been the past few days. Well, we were spending the weekend with Shannon's parents, enjoying a ceremony and bar-b-que honoring Shannon's father. Terry Cross retired from the Coast Guard after 36 years of impressive service, and we wanted to celebrate all of the contributions he has made to this great nation of ours.
A lot of family and friends came to join the celebration, coming from great distances (California) and great gaps of time (everyone from high school buddies to academy classmates). It was a wonderful ceremony and evening; I feel lucky that we were there to share in their joy and hope that we were able to express the pride and love we both have for them as parents.
