We took Libby into "urgent" care today because she had a reddish pinky-toe that looked infected. Yes, I realize how silly this sounds, but we're new parents. Shannon even called a nurse before leaving to make sure that something so tiny (a baby's pinky-toe) was really worth a doctor's visit.
We felt pretty silly sitting in the waiting room and watching another kid get carried out into an ambulance (which actually happened). Turns out that little bitty pinky-toe isn't anything to worry about for now, but to come back in if it spreads.
Libby turned two weeks old on Friday and is doing good. Still not sleeping at night much, but she certainly loves to sleep during the day:
