Another BSOD

For the second time in 4 weeks my Windows laptop treated me to a beautiful Blue Screen of Death:

This brand new laptop crashed so hard that I couldn't even access, let alone repair, it's hard disk (mostly due to the very shitty Sanctuary device control software). A deadly one-two punch by an incompetent operating system and an overly protective device manager.

Want icing on this cake? Tech support says the whole problem is due to a Windows update that they distributed themselves. Argh!
