Dairy Queen!
This is such a blurry cell phone photo, but I felt obliged to share because it captures Libby's pure joy of eating Dairy Queen on a hot day:

London Pic Set: Buildings
Here is the third London pic set, and it's so very exciting: buildings (snark, snark). Truth be told, I love looking at the architecture of places where we travel and London did not disappoint:
- Royal Albert Hall in Kensington
- The Albert Memorial in Kensington Gardens
- Big Ben
- Westminster Abbey
- Westminster Abbey, back side
- Shakespeare Global Theatre
- St. Paul's Cathedral
- The Swan in Staines
- The London Bridge
- Tower of London, from the outside
Note: in case you're feeling out of the loop on famous London sights, that random picture of The Swan in Staines is just a pub where my family used to eat when we lived there. Nothing exceptional, but they do make a great shepard's pie.
Obama and Kid in Oval Office
I was glancing through some pictures from Obama's first 167 days - good stuff all around, but this picture seized me and would not let go. What a wonderful moment for this kid (and, I would imagine, a whole subset of kids across the nation):

President Obama bends over so the son of a White House staff member can pat his head during a family visit to the Oval Office May 8, 2009. The youngster wanted to see if the President's haircut felt like his own. (Official White House Photo by Pete Souza)
