Making Our Way to Maine
The trip from Providence to Maine takes 6-7 hours, so we usually stop at least once to let Libby and us stretch our legs. Freeport is the perfect place - it's about halfway through the trip and they have outlet malls. Need I say more?
We picked up a large cheese pizza and ate it in the car. There were eight pieces of pizza... Shannon and I each ate 2 pieces while our little darling Libby had FOUR (though she didn't eat all of the crusts). She's a growing girl!

Visit with Laurie & Ethan
While in Providence we were able to stop by and have a quick lunch with Shannon's good friend Laurie and her newish baby Ethan. They were both wonderful - Libby, of course, asked to hold Ethan about 317 times. Here they are on the couch:

You Should Be Watching True Blood
True Blood is far and away one of the best shows on television these days. Currently about halfway through the second season, it's enjoying rising viewer numbers in no small part to it's brilliant writing:
It's like Twilight... for adults. Get into it!
The Hypocrisy… It Burns, It Burns!

Aunt Debbie and Uncle Pee-tah
We stopped by Debbie and Peter's house in Rhode Island this year on our way to Maine (as we have the past couple years). It was wonderful to spend a few days with them! They always go out of their way to make us feel at home, and Libby enjoys spending time with all her loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
