Caleb’s Birthday Bash

This past Sunday we went to a birthday party for our good friend's son, Caleb. It was a water themed extravaganza that was a lot of fun for Libby and for us.

Hard to believe, but it's been a week since Cooper arrived. So far he has been an easy baby; he eats, he sleeps, he poops. Shannon has been waking up with him 3-4 times each night, though she is usually the one waking Cooper up to eat (instead of the other way around). Shannon is taking the long nights in stride beautifully.

Libby has been good with Cooper too. She is very attentive toward him and hasn't (yet) shown any jealousy. Here are a few pictures from the past 7 days:

We Have Great Friends, Too!

We have been incredibly fortunate to be flooded with many well wishes and congratulations over the past 4 days. We have been blessed many times over, and we thank all of you.

A special thanks to Emily, Tim, Henry, and Sam. Few things bring as much surprise joy in the morning as finding a cooler with a quiche, fruit salad, crunchy granola, yogurt, and fresh flowers on your doorstep. THANK YOU!
