A Couple More Cell Pics

- Cooper with his Gilligan hat
- Libby on a swing
The Once: Anthem
The Once are a wonderfully eclectic band from Newfoundland that I recently discovered via a facebook post from a High School friend who had in turn heard them playing on NPR's Vinyl Cafe (it is a twisted web we weave, indeed).
They sang two songs during their April 9th performance on the Vinyl Cafe - the second, called "Anthem", struck me to the core when I first heard it. The lead singer's voice, powerful and personal, speaks of a hope and light that can penetrate even the most overwhelming darkness. It is beautiful:

Libby Rollerskating
Now that it's warm outside Libby's learning to rollerskate! She's kicking it old-school with the classic quad rollerskate (none of that new fangled "inline" crap):
- All ready to go!
- Holding Nanny's hand as she glides down the driveway
- Cruising (carefully) on her own
A Princess, a Geisha, and a Zebra Walk Into Our House…
